old lemond titanium question
#1182 - 02/11/04 07:21 AM (218.145.25.19)

I'm trying to find out about this bike and thought I'd try here just because the decal scheme is the same as I saw on some lemond calfees. Paint is a metallic blue to grey fade, horizontal rear dropouts, carbon fork with ti dropouts, campy record 8sp and delta brakes, ibis ti stem, synchros ti post, time pedals. Seat stays attached to the outside of the seat tube and bevelled there like many older steel bikes, seat binder integrated into seat tube extension of a couple cm. Thanks for any info or even dates of that decal set, seems there were many possible makers of older lemond ti bikes and I have no serial number.

The first LeMond Ti frames were built by Litespeed. The next generation were built by Clark-Kent (now defunct)in Colorado.
