This is kinda dumb, but bear with me, lol. I bid on a Pneumo, that (unknown to me at the time) is a 2002. I already have a 2003 that fits great. Giro changed the sizing from 2002 to 2003. The sizing went from 56-60 cm in 2002 to 55-59 cm in 2003 for medium. My exact size is 58.5 cm, so my question is, will I really notice that 1.2 cm difference? If this is a stupid question, don't hesitate to let me know, lol. I emailed the seller twice with questions, and found out today that it's a 2002. Don't know why I didn't think to ask before, but oh well. Anyway, I've asked him if he would consider cancelling my bids b/c it's too big for me. If he won't cancel the bids, I'll do the right thing and get it, and then turn around and sell/auction it. I'm just not sure if I'll really feel the difference. So if anybody wears a 2002 Pneumo with my head size, tell me how it feels. Whaddya think? All responses welcome. (See, I toldja it was kinda dumb!)
Thanks, Mark

You have a pneumo already. In my experience with my Pneumo, the best fit is obtained by tightening the adjustments at the back of my head. I'm certain it can make up the extra centimeter or so. Sounds like the 2003 pneumo might have been the right size for you without any adjustments. If so, I guess you'll just have to see if you like the fit using the adjustments...

I have to agree with Jeff. When I get my haircut I have to make a adjustment with my helmet. Also wearing any type of cold weather headgear the pneumo can accomodate quite a change
