Nice ride tonight...finally, lol.: Bikefanclub.com

Well, I picked up my new team uniform today. I thought I'd go for a quick ride to try out the uniform. The weather was 68 degrees, partly cloudy, with a slight breeze. I got off work at 5, got home at 5:10, and was out the door at 5:30. The last time I rode was two and a half weeks ago. That ride was cold, and windy, not very pleasant weather-wise. Work has been monstrous since then (Mental health rehab. counselor), so no riding for me, plus it's rained almost every day since. Talk about needing my own "mental health day", lol! It felt soooo nice to get back on the bike and get into that rhythm, just me and the bike. The feeling of my legs settling into that groove is difficult to describe. It would have to be like...oh say when you open a beer, or that first bite of a good steak, or better yet, reconnecting with an old friend, you know, those kinds of things. Things that make you go..."Aaaahhhhh." Anyway, It's been a good week so far, and the weekend is looking better. Sunny with a temperature of 65-68, very nice. Finally, I get to ride without rain on the weekend! Also, I got a good deal on a used Pneumo on eBay this week! How cool is that?!? Well, just had to brag for a minute.
