dbrk,
I could not tell from gallery photos whether you ordered your Hampsten with the Z1 tubes (uni-directional carbon) or the Z1-x tubeset (w/ the woven carbon weave wrap). Other than what the Parlee web site mentions, were there any other reasons why you choose one tubeset over the other?

Mine are the Z1 Pro tubes, not the Z1x. Why? I figured if I was going to go -this- far with a custom carbon bike I might as well go the whole way. Plus this was Hampsten's model of choice. Hampsten will also be offering other Parlees with a few subtle variants. I wanted a full custom to match my sizing ideas.

Hampsten Ti also comes in the "Strada Bianca" model, a kind of all-arounder that has a tremendous appeal. The "VaMoots" Hampsten is, well, a custom VaMoots! I love Hampsten graphics....
But, here's a bit of the inside, if I may: there is much talk amongst Hampstenados to consider a French style roughstuffer, perhaps a 650B wheeler, and YES, in titanium! How cool would that be? Custom carbon fork too...I should not such much more for now but if you are thinking about a titanium Hampsten (Moots made, of course)...well, we're sorta' on the wrong forum for this conversation...We need a Hampsten Forum!
I am so looking forward to mega-miles on the new Z1. Anyone out there with a Z2 or 3 yet?
