SuperRecord is wonderful. But frankly I wouldn't build it with romance in mind but with what you will really love to ride. I love to ride friction and oldschool just as much (actually far more) than I like to ride with clicks. So pick what you will use. It would be a shame to hang the bike up and say, well, not today because it's built with X. This is a GREAT bike and I love mine, have another one on order with the twin plate crown.
