STARK NAKED new
#1964 - 03/26/04 05:04 PM (162.114.211.139)

is how I'd like to ride, after a long winter of (a) not riding much and gaining, like, 276 pounds and (b) when I DID ride, spending a half hour getting dressed and a half hour getting undressed after a frozen 20 minutes on the bike.

Stark naked in the wind and sun would be good.

Question: Has anyone ever ridden a bike stark naked?

That would have a tendency to even out your tan line!

think of the $$$ saved. No shorts, shirts, gloves. Riding in the winter I get looks like maybe I was riding naked.

Just the thought one of those saddles with a 'relief hole' makes me shudder!

Look at all those grams, you could save. However, you need to add a couple grams back for extra suntan lotion needed, and tape to hold up the family's jewels. And it's a lot cheaper than losing the grams off your bike, and much easier than dieting. Hey!!! I'm naked.

For those of you who may not know ... new [Re: OldEd]
#2070 - 03/31/04 08:26 PM (24.168.90.116)

Old Ed is a Kentucky State Penitentiary inmate serving 10 to 20 for attempting to grow drugs. Old Ed was busted in connection with assisting Woody Harrelson in growing marijuana under the pretense of using it to produce hemp for rope and clothing. But we all know what he really wanted to do with it.

He doesn't get out much due to his incarceration, so you can understand why he wants to ride a bike with his hairy a$$ flying in the wind. Please excuse his ranting. He means no harm. All he needs is some understanding and a shot of Booker's Gold Medal. He'll be fine until the doctors feel he's safe to re-enter mainstream society.

One of those rare moments.... new [Re: OldEd]
#2074 - 04/01/04 12:47 AM (63.150.56.105)

Ahh, man, haven't thought of that in YEARS....
When I got out of the Army in 1968 and went back to school, a lot of things had changed. I'd been in places like Texas and North Carolina, and then a year in Vietnam, and I'd missed long hair on guys, flowered shirts, the whole doggone sexual revolution. I did my best to catch up and fit in, and after a few months I got a lot of help from (I'm embarrassed to admit this now, but I wasn't so choosy then) a college cheerleader. JUNIOR college cheerleader. We used to go up to her parents' cabin in the hills south of San Francisco, and in a rare moment of lucidity one day I fixed the scene in my mind and lectured myself, "When you're a wrinkled old geezer with a floppy ****, REMEMBER THIS DAY!"
I'm on the verge of wrinkled old geezerhood now, and I remember the day, including getting the bikes out of the back bedroom and riding down the road at dusk. Mosquitos bit my ****, and I was up in that area last year and it's all condos. But I remember the day.

Has this whole site been abducted by aliens, or just this thread?

There are mysteries not meant [Re: ColnagoFE]

to be solved, my friend. But by GOD we will know the lightest and best water bottle cage before it's over!

This thing is really perking along now. If only my old buddy TJean would show up to share his valued insights, it would more than counterbalance Steam's vile presence.

I bet metrosexual TJean would never ride nekkid.
