Pages: 1 Davefromaine new member Reged: 02/16/04 Posts: 12 Loc: Maine Merckx 10th Anniversary #2355 - 04/12/04 02:40 PM (66.152.253.98) Edit Reply Quote I purchased a well-used Eddy Merckx frame that has an old Cycleart paint job (tatoo'd on the chain stay). It's a deep red with the white with gold-outlined downtube decals. The top tube has a 10th anniversary decal on it, but none of other decals have the correct 10th emblem. The previous owner couldn't confirm that this was originally a 10th anniversary model. I've written to the factory with the serial numbers to get any info they may have, but have not heard back in quite some time. Does anyone know if the 10th anniversary model ever came in the blood red color? Maybe it's just Cycleart's addition? I have seen several of the 10th anniv frames around, but never one in red. So, its likely is juist a one off respray. I can scan the catalog and send you the pics of you like. I bought an Eddy Merckx jacket on German ebay, and the fellow who helped me get it shipped stateside included a new catalog and a sleeve full of Euro-chocolates. YUM!
