Finally got my Tetra Pro after 8 long weeks of waiting. It was definately worth the wait. The craftsmanship is impeccable. This is my first Calfee so I hope it lives up to the hype I've been reading about. Have to wait til this weekend to test ride it....can't wait. Does anyone have any experience with Calfee's integrated carbon bar/stem? Planning on ordering one in the next couple months after I get my positioning on the new frame. P.S. Posted couple pics up.

Congratulations. 8 weeks may seem like a long time, but it's not as bad as 10 weeks, which is what ETA for new orders be placed.
What hype? You mean to tell me, you brought one with out test riding it. Boy, you're in for a surprise. What have you been riding?
No experience yet with Calfee's integrated carbon bar/stem combination. I am in the process of finding my right position for bar and brake levers. After I get mine I'll be glad give you some feedback. My only advice now, would be go on several long rides before deciding on your final position, because once you choose it, it can't be changed.
Enjoy it.

I guess 8 weeks doesn't seem too long compared to what others have had to wait. However, when you're excited to get something every week that passes by is tooooooooooo long. That's what a Calfee does to you. Unfortunately, where I live there are no local Calfee dealers where I could test ride one. My brother-in-law has a Dragonfly Pro but our frame size are different so it was difficult to judge from there. Just based my decision on feedback from other owners. Let us know how that bar-stem works out.

Congrats on the new ride!!! All bike freaks can't wait one week let alone 8 or more when we have toys on the way!!
I too am interested in the Calfee bar-stem combo...I definitely have perked ears on this subject! I am wondering specifically what bars you guys are using for this setup. As some of you know from the old forum, I am a huge, that is, a HUGE fan of Kestrel EMS bars.
From the prices I have seen for the Ram and other offerings, the Calfee version is not a bad deal at all, and it would match the frame quite nicely:)

Calfee says you can use any 31.7 or 31.8 bar and he will attach it to his carbon stem. The one I was interested in is what he calls his ergonomics bar/stem combo. In essence, it is the Stella Azzurra Tirreno handlebar that retails alone at Colorado Cyclist for $399. He gets them at a special bulk rate and therefore only charges $400 something dollars for the whole setup. Not a bad deal if you are looking for anatomical bar/carbon stem combo.

Are you currently using a Stella Azzurra Tirreno handlebar on your new Tetra to find your correct position?

Unfortunately not. It would cost me 399 for the bar and 250 for Calfee to later integrate it for me. That would be 750 versus 4 something hundred that he charges. That would be ideal, though, since I plan on going with the SA Tirreno bar. Craig said to just add 1 cm to whatever stem length I decide on and and go a width size up on the bar. Not the best way of doing it, but definately more cost effective.

You can get what I think is the same bar as the Stella Tirreno from IRD for around $290. Check the Interloc website. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to mount a computer on this bar? There does not seem to be enough room between the stem and the molded hand grips.
