Thanks! It's pretty cool to "watch" your frame being built isn't it?

Yes, it is. When I had my Strong built, Carl sent me pictures daily. I wasn't expecting it, so it was a very nice surprise. Funny too when I entered into this deal with Dave, he asked if I would like to have them too, saying that some customers "could care less." I can't imagine why anyone wouldn't want them.
Noticed your name on the dist that DK sent concerning the paint delays. Sad no?

Yes, very sad. A man losing a father has to be one of the toughest times he will go through. A Dad, a mentor and often a best friend is gone, as is the direct link to the past. And if a father and son were particularly close, the passing will alter the son's life in a significant way.
I lost my Dad almost 40 years ago, and there is still some pain left.

Terry,
David just e-mailed me pictures of my new frame. He was also was able to ship it today. Can't wait to see it in person as the pictures are incredible. Good luck with yours.

Jack: Please post pics and give us a report as soon as you receive your frame. Mine, by the way, will be finished as soon as Joe Bell gets back from vacation.

Dave,
Thanks for the kind words. This frame is stunning to say the least. I am amazed at the fine detail of the workmanship in both the frame build and the paint quality. I built it with ride comfort and lightweight in mind to be able to use it in DC's. The frame built with DA-10, FSA compact cranks, Topolino wheels, USE alien seatpost, Easton carbon bars and Zero Gravity brakes weigh in at 17.1 lbs with pedals.
I was able to ride it both days this past weekend and it rides perfectly. This bike will do anything you want it to do. I was amazed at how well it decended. Felt like an F-16 jet making turns and dives thru the mountains. I will say that it might be the perfect package.

Me too!
I ordered one of Mr. Kirk's bike with the terraplane option. I think Mr. Kirk is just about done with it. I didn't want to say anything earlier...I'd get myself too excited!
