Trek OCLV frames on Ebay: Bikefanclub.com

Hi,
Lately, I've seen three, 2003, Trek 5900 frames for sale on Ebay that do not look like a typical OCLV frame. That is, the paint is not standard and without as many decals. All three were painted a burgandy, dark cherry color.

One seller said that his came from Trek's warranty department and that these bikes are sold to Trek's best dealers.

Does anyone know the story on these frames? Are they frames that have been returned to Trek under warranty that are then repaired and resold by Trek? Are they really 5900s? Any one know?
