Factory Tour
#3111 - 05/25/04 06:40 PM (12.14.39.33)

Hi folks. I was in the Boston area and took a factory tour yesterday. For you Seven owners or prospective owners who haven't had a chance, I would highly recommend it. I think the website does a pretty good job of explaining the various steps, but to see things happening as you walk around the shop is pretty cool.

Just a quick note on the new 5E forks, they are made by Reynolds, and come to Seven without the dropouts. I gave one a quick squeeze test and have to say they are pretty stiff. I was told that the fork is probably not as stiff as the Wound Up, but is much lighter.

Oh, if you know someone who has a tandem with S&S couplings on order, it looked like all the tubes looked were cut and finished and were close to the tacking/welding stage.
