greetings! i'll be a new proud owner of a nude tetra in 6 to 8 weeks (fingers crossed). i've been browsing this forum for awhile coz i've been lusting for a calfee for a year now. i just couldn't take it any longer so i took the plunge and placed an order for a nude tetra pro. my measurements were taken and i have ordered most of the components already (via internet). i'm not sure whether the frame comes with a seat collar though. can you guys enlighten me on this? i know the seat tube takes in a 27.2 mm seatpost. is that the same figure that one uses for a seat collar? what would you recommend if i do need one?
all i can say is FINALLY!!!! at long last.

Congrats on your purchase. Your new Calfee will come with a seat collar.

I bet it comes in quicker than you think. I think paint is one reason for the longer wait times.

I don't know if paint is the issue if it is not a custom or complicated paint job. It is my understanding they work on one model at a time. If your order is close to when they are doing that model it is sooner if not later. Just relax. Remember the old saying, "a watched pot never boils."

Nine weeks and counting for me, and it's still "not very far along". Anyone have a time machine I can borrow?

You may well get yours before me even though it looks like I ordered mine more than a month before you (I ordered on tax day, April 15) since I'm one of those poor souls that needs a custom frame (long legs and shorter torso) and on top of that I was foolish enough to go with a custom paint job, although it's still just a solid paint finish...a yellow (my daughter's favorite color) that's toned down from the standard calfee yellow.

wow! well, i hope you get yours soon. that's quite a wait. i'll let y'all know when i get mine. i just ordered it a week and 6 days ago (and a couple of hours). i try not to think about it...but it pops up in my head every 5 minutes. just have to control myself. i'll really go crazy when it takes my lbs a long time to build it up when the frame arrives. my teeth are starting to crack.
