First ride, 72 miles, 80 degrees. 57 size, DA, red color, swapped bars and stem for Deda Spectrum and Magic, post for Thomson Elite, and wheels for Topolinos.
Topolinos were picked because the Kysiriums on the Record version I tested added to harshness. Topos turned out to be a great complement to the frame, bringing comfort level closer to all CF. The accleration and climbing impression from the test ride was changed by the nature of Topos, as well as my dehydration and the 4.5 pounds of fluids I brought on the ride, but it was still a fine climber and a fast accelerator. Particularly notable was stability, thanks to 73/73 angles on the 57, and the Topolinos. Fantastic descender, great cornering, easy hands free riding. My Tetra still wins for best all-round bike, due both to comfort and the fact that I am faster on that bike, but this came suprisngly close. More details in my bicycling.com review - picture to come on this site when I have time.
