Question on selling a Calfee
#3705 - 07/15/04 05:57 PM (66.55.7.44)

Hi all,

I'm looking for some advice. I have a Tetra Pro Custom (60cm) that I am going to sell because I have replaced it with a Dragonfly and was wondering if it would be better to sell as a complete bike or as a frameset. I do have a use for most of the parts (not a need but I can use them) so the only thing I would not use would be the wheels which are easy to sell. Anyone have any experience they would like to share.

Thanks

You will probably come out ahead by selling the frame separately. Everyone has their own combination of components, etc... that they prefer which may or may not coincide with what you are selling.

How much for your Tetra?

I have not really thought about a price yet, but I would guess around 1/2 of new and will post on ebay when I get around to it. It is a 2000 model and nude and in great shape.

I would be interested. My second road bike is an old steel frame and not fun to ride compared to the Calfee. I would love to have a second good bike if I had a problem with the current one.
