Have my new bike for just over a week. Its built up with with mostly Ultegra parts. The plan is to use this bike for some of the long rides that I like to take, plus the occasional century. I have put in several long rides and am very pleased so far. The bike rides like its on glass. Very smooth and stable. There is one stretch of road I frequently ride which is a 12% grade. I was able to push the speed way up to 50 mph and still feel very much in control. No wobbles or skittishness, just plain fun. This same quality works at slower speeds. There were a few times where I thought I was going around 14-15 mph only to see that I was cruising along smoothly at 17-18 mph. Whether its the BB drop or the curved stays I don't know, but it sure works nicely. The bike also corners well, although not quite the same as my Klein, which is a good thing for my style of riding. The fit is spot on, very comfortable. I put in 4 hours Sunday morning with no stiff neck, sore hands or any of the other minor aches that I would sometimes have with my old bike.
The bike does everything that I wanted. Dave Kirk did a great job and was always a pleasure to deal with.

It sounds like you got the Terraplane, no? I was struck how smooth the Terraplane option made my Kirk. Incredible.
