Today I talked to Scott at Seven to try to get some information or comment about a used Seven Ti frame that I am looking at. There is no Seven dealer in my town.
Scott's attitude was very distressing to me - "we don't provide service or comment about used frames". No information or help provided.
This attitude must kill the resale value of used Seven frames and it certainly indicated to me that I might want to consider something else.

It doesn't sound any different that other maunfacturers. Typically they will only give year of build and geometry/dimensions. Try e-mailing them with those questions.
No service, unless you pay for it, because it's used and no comments because they can't examine what you are looking at.

I'm wondering what kind of "comments" you wanted.
Seven provided me with full geometry and ride characteristics (handling, rigidity, compliance, etc.) after I provided them the serial number of my used Axiom. They were responsive and friendly. They also told me when the bike was built. They've been nothing but helpful.
But I didn't ask them to comment on condition, or to commit to providing warranty service.

My experience with Seven is that they will not honor the warranty if you are not the original owner. I bought a used Odonata (less than 6 months old when purchased) and after a year the glue bond between the carbon fiber rear seat stays and seat tube gave way. I contacted Seven and they told me since I'm not the orginal owner the repair wasn't covered by their warranty, however they would fix the problem for $600+ if I shipped the frame to them. This damage was not caused by misuse on my part, and indeed the Seven folks stated as much when during a telephone conversation after they received the frame (yes, I doled out the $) that it looked brand new.
It seems to me that a manufacturer of such expensive frames (and worth it, I will add) would extend their warranties beyond original ownership. Indeed, it is my understanding that their competition (Serotta, as told by the local Serotta dealer) does.

Calfee upon a fee and their inspection of the bike will give a used owner the remainder of the warranty. In the case of a Tetra it is the remainder of 25 years. That is not a bad deal and one I would take them up on.

Serotta's warranty is the same - Original owners only (see their website: http://www.serotta.com/pages/warranty.html). That's pretty much normal practice.
