Just picked up my new Traditional Geometry Eddie Merckx Premium frame today! Those Flare Scandium tubes are sweet! My Record carbon kit arrives tomorrow. Pics to follow. After reading all the comments, I went for the Record Carbon cranks and seatpost but settled for the Deda Newton Bar/Stem. I would prefer a carbon flat top bar with blue graphics and internal cable routing but only see the Stella with no routing. Any ideas?

What diameter seatpost does the Merckx Premium take? Is it a standard 27.2?

Dear Krash,
You fool. Everybody knows the Premium takes a 31.6 seatpost. You can get a shim to adapt your 27.2 post.
Sincerely,

I just posted photos of my Eddy Merckx Premium in classic geometry. Mine is in Motorola colors since I won it in GITA Sporting Goods raffle celebrating Eddy Merckx's 25th anniversary in the bike business. This is a great riding bike.
