For those of us in Central Florida, any ideas about the best wet weather road tires?

How about Southern California? (just kidding) Man I can't comprehend being or living in a place where the potential for such destruction is a way of life and a not uncommon occurrence.
I've been there, I've got friends and acquaintances there and my thoughts are with you all.

Clincher or Tubular? Schwabe (get on eBay for $10/tire) makes a rain tire that I think works just fine. Ditto - keeping Floridians in my thoughts and prayers. Hope you weather the storm.

I'd think any tire attached to a mountain bike would be just about right. I recommend a UST with Stans to keep the flats away. Good time to practice your bunny hopping, too.
