There was an Emma in the lot too that will serve nicely, so now I've got two Pegoretti incoming, one the epitome of classic, the other Dario's latest notion of contemporary steel. I could not be happier. The Luigino is painted as a homage to the old Legnano circa 1950-something and Dario and Gianni went out of their way to find the color and the scheme. When I have more than the spy photo I will post pictures of the completed bike. But the purpose of this note is sort of a head's up. I think there may be a few new bikes at the importer (Gita, of course) that aren't already spoken for, but precious few (if any). It's a darn good day when Pegorettis make it here, I say.
