I know I have seen the answer somewhere in the forum but I do not feel like looking through every post about pumps to find the answer.
Please tell me where you get your inexpensive threaded Co2 cartridges, I checked Wal-Mart but all they have non-threaded.
Thanks

I looked but couldn't find such a thing. In the end I switched to non-threaded. It was worth 10-15 bucks to switchover, because the cartridges are so inexpensive.

Check the places where they sell paintball guns or better yet, where they play paintball wargames. Last time I played the game, about 2 or 3 years back, nonthreaded ones were like 10 cents each. But they do sell the threaded ones too. -gas

There are no cheap "threaded" cartridges but you can buy non-threaded very cheaply in bulk. I prefer the threaded because the adapter is so tiny but I've used both and they all work.
I get my threaded for $2 (which I think is a good deal). I pay about $.5 per nonthreaded.

Thanks vaxn8r, it sounds like we did the same thing. I used a larger co2 pump but to save some room I went with the tiny innovations model and now we have to pay more for threaded cartridges.
I think Supergo is about to have there big in store sale so I plan on stocking up then.
Are you guys using the 12g or 16g, I am afraid of blowing out my tire with a 16g. (I run pro race at 110-115psi)

I use one of the threadless inflators and the 12g threadless CO2 cartridges which I purchased in bulk from Walmart for about $.50 each. The inflator works great and even locks...so it holds the C02 once you crack the cartridge. I've used the threaded CO2 systems as well and they work okay and are lighter, but the rubber seal on mine wore our and I had to toss it.
One note on the 12g cartridges....they only give you about 90 psi (I haven't measured), but it's enough for the ride. You could top off with a 2nd one, I suppose. I usually carry three with me.
