Has anyone ridden either one of these steel Sevens? If you have, please provide me with some feedback or comments. How do you think they compare to other custom steel makers? Thanks. Wayne

I own and love a Steel Axiom. Read all about it (and see it) here: http://www.serotta.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1993&highlight=steel

Thanks Wayne.
For my two cents on the issue - If I were going to spend Elium Steel $$$, I'd get an Alaris.
I think that Seven can build you an all-steel frame that would perform exactly how you specify. What you get with the carbon is (according to Seven) less weight and better viration absorbtion.
So, rather than a $2,200 Elium Steel, I'd get a $2,000 Alaris. You'll drop the weight (an Alaris should even weigh a little less that and E.S.), get the vibration absorbtion of Ti, have a weatherproof frame, and lose the complexity of a two-material frame. Just like the Elium Steel, Seven will build your Alaris exactly how you want it.
Spend the extra money on painting your Alaris, better components, or send it to me. I'm saving for my Alaris...
