UN-saddle

Has anyone actually seen or especially, ridden one of these "UN-saddles?"

I've never heard of this item, nor seen one, but came across it today looking for some information on yesterday's Ironman Hawaii for my club's newsletter.

Saddles are 100% personal. I find I need a specific shape to be comfortable.

The UN-Saddle appears to be just that, not really a saddle, but a place to put your butt. I think it accomplishes one thing that troubles most novice riders, and that is it forces you to distribute your weight from the saddle to the pedals and bars. Most novice riders just plunk their butt down on saddle and expect everything to be OK. Experienced riders know you have to balance your weight between the three points of contact on a bike.

Well put Bruce...I deal with that alot from new participants in SPIN class. It also illustrates the value of good fit on the bike, not just good fitness.
