I'm stocked, Santa just ordered me a new Alaris
#45 - 12/19/03 09:13 PM (4.4.142.59)

Just finished my interview with Seven so looking forward to being on the road by mid Jan. I'm having the frame designed to be comfortable for long periods in the saddle. It is going to be nice to ride a stable and compliant bike. Coming off a Kestrel. Now if Santa could just bring me a new 9' Longboard, and a ticket to Costa Rica this spring I'll be set.

The Bike shop I'm using has a Waterford R-33 demo bike (great looking bike by the way) with Record so I'm getting a pretty good deal on it, but had originally planned on Chorus. It will have the Seven Woundup fork, with a CK headset, Seven Alum seat post & stem, Easton EC90 bars, riding on Eurus wheels. I wanted the new Seven fork but was advised by Seven that due to the lenght of the head tube I wouldn't be able to use that fork . Thanks for asking.

Good luck with your new Seven. They just shipped my new Alta yesterday. A Good company to work with. I ordered mine on 12/4 and they met the shipping date even with the frame being painted. There web site is pretty cool for tracking the progress of your frame. again, good luck with your seven.

Jack

Sevens are such beautiful bikes. I would like to see more pics of them in the BFC photo gallery.

I should be picking my new Alaris up on Tuesday. Its at the shop right now being built with a 10 speed Chorus group that I bought back in April. Im also putting a new set of Neutron wheels on it. I just have to decide on a seatpost (it will have a Syncros for now but I wanna get a Campy carbon post)and tires (either Michelin or perhaps Vittoria).
I will try to get good pics and post them ASAP.
