I received word from Dave that my new frame is on it's way back to him from a rather lengthy stay at JB's. I'll post pictures when I get them.

Dave just sent me some pictures of my frame. Now it's off to the paint shop. You mentioned that your frame had a lengthy stay at JB's. How lengthy? Have you built it up yet? Are you happy with the finished product? What components will you be using for your build kit?

All you Terraplane (is that really a name for a bicycle? ) owners are going to have to post lengthy ride reports you know. It is an amazing, and beautiful, bike.

JB took about 7-8 weeks. Longer than Dave took to make her if my dates are correct. I love it! Although this will be the first weekend I will get in a long ride with the final choice of parts. I will issue a more detailed report on the ride later. But I am very happy.
As for parts I used Dura Ace 10 speed but with 2003 cranks and canti. brakes (Pauls) Seat is a Brooks Swallow with Thompson seatpost. Nitto Noodle bars, Dura Ace Wheels, Vittoria Pave tires, King HS, Keo pedals and Nitto bottle cages. I will try and take some pics this weekend and post.

Dave says he's building my frame this week (yes, with the Terraplane option). I'll let folks know how it rides when the time comes, for sure. Looks like it'll be a few weeks yet, allowing for Joe Bell time, though.
