Just ordered me up a custom steel hard tail mtb frame from Carl Strong last week. The bundle of joy should arrive by early January. Also, due any day now, is my rear wheel for the fixed gear single speed I'm building up out of an old Club Fuji. My current mtb and road bikes can hardly wait! It's all so exciting

Cool! Especially the fixed gear setup...several of my friends are using them and claim to be training more effectively. I want to build one from an old frame and use it with my krietler roller for technique training. Those CLub Fuli's are great training bikes!...an early 1990 model was my first real roadbike...I kicked a lot of tail on that steel tank.
enjoy the new rides! Happy holidays...Mark

Wow, I can't even remember how many years ago I had a Fuji road bike. That was back in the days when ten-speed was ten speeds and the shifters were on the downtube. I think they called them sport bikes. That also was when Cromo was king of the bike materials. Times sure have changed.
