My Tetra Pro should be in today, can;t wait. They fixed my BB troubles and reworked it to an English BB. I had them nude the frame and fork, so my broken up old Calfee will be new!! However, the need to get her built up and test ridden before I leave for Florida is getting me a bit anxious.
Seeing that I have never built this bike up, let alone ride it, any advice for build up??? I need full housing along the top tube, right?? Thanks

Yes, you need full housing. When I build bikes I try to have all the details covered before hand - i put the levers bar stem housing cables and tape together at a differnt time, and then it doesn't take such a long time. Since I believe the Tetra uses TI sleeves, don't be shy about using Anti-seize on the threads. I don't instal my own headsets - I don't have the tools. My D-fly is getting a 2nd life right now so I am missing it mightily. Enjoy your new ride!

I just received my Luna frame and hope to get it built up in the next week or two. Can anyone explain why I would need or want full cable housing along the toptube? Thanks.

There are no brake cable stops on the top tube, only cable guides. You will need a long piece of housing to go from the brake lever to the rear brake.

Hey, great news, man. I'm happy for you. May you fall in love with the sweet ride of your Calfee bike. Keep us in the loop. I'm glad you got her fixed and refinished.

I sure would like to send my Tetra in to get nuded. If I had done so when winter started, I'd have had it back by now! I don't think I could stand it if it warmed up, and my bike wasn't here! Now I'll probably have to wait until next winter!
