Wow, what a machine you have there. Tell us more about riding it. How old is the child riding on it? I'm very curious to know it's ride quality. How much does it weigh? How much did it cost?

The bike is not mine. The picture is courtesy of the selling dealer Rich Shapiro Gear-To-Go Tandems 850 W. Clinton St. Elmira, NY 14905 607-732-4859

Calfee's website should have a story with pix on the T3 frameset.
I own a DF tandem, but the T3 would be one wild travel tandem. In foreign lands, the midshipman could be your guide.

With all that horsepower working what that rack needs is a blender setup for the post ride margaritas. Or an icecream maker if the kiddos will be around.
Amazing

I hope is it light team with those low spoke count wheels.
Any idea of the sizing on the bike?
A nice piece of work. I wonder if this is the first Calfee triple?

The Tetra Triple/Tandem cost $11,620 for the frame. We sent it out without weighing it but it was surprisingly light for a three person bike. They travel to Europe on it with a friend, who can only ride for a few days. Then they finish the trip as a tandem. They also ride it with their grandchildren at home. Fun bike!

What? No comments about a Calfee w/ direct-pull brakes.
Very cool bike.
