Well, I did opt out. But, in fact, I didn't find the why'd-he-win discussion a route to nowhere. I kind of enjoyed hearing all the sides present their cases for what is winningest. I'm a philosophy prof in my day job and so in classes, we do this back and forth-ing all the time. I like to think it's constructive...at least sometimes.
In Oregon, I don't think you are allowed to use a disk wheel for races that have a mass start. At least if I remember the OBRA rules right.

Well, USCF/USA Cycling rules allow it. I don't know if OBRA is under their roof or not.
