drvelo, I can't seem to find your pics in the gallery, am I mising something? I also have a Z1, the downtube has the Z1x cloth covered tube, mine is built with 10-speed DA, Topolino wheels, FSA K-wing bars, FSA K-Force carbon stem, U.S.E. carbon seat post, Avocet 02 40M saddle, Time RSX Carbon pedals, Easton SLX full carbon fork, weight 15.25 pounds. I just love my Parlee, it is the best riding bike I have ever owned. Enjoy yours, it's a keeper

audissix, thank you for your commments. Hopefully you have seen the photos posted by now. Apparently they have to be reviewed and approved before BFC Ok's them.
Any any rate I now have about 100 miles on the bike since Saturday and it keeps getting better and better. Basically I am able now to focus on the bike and different road conditions than I did on the maiden voyage!
This Z1 carves down the descents and climbs so well. I am coming off of a Colnago Masterlight, which is a great bike, but this shines over that in everyway.
Your build and bike weight is right on as you described. I understand your statement "this is a keeper". Thanks for your interest and hope you have seen the photo's?
Best.......

drvelo, the pictures are up and your Parlee is beautiful, the proportions between the seat height/stem angle are very nice and even! I like the yellow decals very much, I have the white but am thinking of some day changing to either silver/grey or dark blue. I'm sure in the future there will be new decal options, for now I do like my white very much. I'm riding the 194 mile PMC this weekend so I'll have plenty of time to enjoy my Parlee, enjoy yours. Regards

I am building a Parlee User Gallery section on my site at www.kgsbikes.com if anyone is interested in having me host their pics. Please contact me if you would like me to do so. Otherwise, check out the 12.94 lb Z3 we built up. Tasty!
