Chips in my Parlee??
#6428 - 08/07/05 12:46 PM (68.34.226.230)

I have noticed small chips around the edge of the lugs on my Parlee... Anyone experience this problem? Also, I have noticed that the edges of these lug area is kind of rough...

Jdog, not sure what the chips are from. I am assuming you are referring to the rear drop outs, both sides at top and bottom connections? The chips are the clear coat I would guess.

Give Parlee a call to discuss, either Travis or Jonathan. Great customer service. Also you can use a clear hard coat nail polish to touch up with great success.

Carbon fiber does not hold paint well or even clear coat although that is somewhat better. That is the reason many Calfee owner's go with a nude bike. It is one trade-off of carbon but I feel well worth it.

OH, THAT'S NICE. SPEND THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS ON A BIKE FRAME AND DO A FIX UP WITH A $3.00 BOTTLE OF POLISH. WHAT DO YOU SUGGEST? L'OREAL OR REVLON?!
