S&S couplers
#6507 - 08/25/05 06:22 PM (24.71.223.140)

I was wanting to build up a road bike with 700c wheels for travelling and settled on the Strong after a lot of searching on the internet.
I talked with Nick initially, then with Carl a few days later after he had got back from a short trip.
The conversations were quite indepth, and so far its looking good for getting my frame built in the near future. All thats left now is to size myself up accordingly to Carls chart and get 'the interview'.
It will be interesting to see just how the sizing/geometry for this oversized tubing steel frame with the S&S couplers turns out.
Naturally i'm getting excited thinking about my new Strong travel bike, but the only area i have neglected so far is the colour,i'm still not sure of what two tone scheme i want, ideas anyone???

The frame got all measured up and welded together with the choice of a simple two tone red/metallic white diagonal fade just in time for being a Christmas present to myself.
Now that i got it shipped from Carl and home, its time to do the necessary prep and installation of all the related parts.
Since this is going to be a travel bike, i've deciced for now its basically getting most of the Campy parts i kept from my retired(8 speed)road TT bike along with some minor updates to some of the parts.
Pics coming soon, for now the usual fiddling, polishing, inspecting and pouring over the frameset is going on right now, hey i waited long enough.
