Does Calfee post the desired fork rake for their frames? I did not find it on their geometry chart.

Why do you want to know fork rake? It is the trail which makes the bike stability change. The trail is a sum result of fork rake and headtube angle.

Well, since forks are sold according to their rake, and not by the trail of any particular bike they may be used on, I would like to find out what rake is recommended by Calfee.

Rod:
I *believe* that Calfee specs a 43* rake for their forks. You could call or email them Monday to make sure.

The suggested rake depends on the headtube angle. The different frame sizes have different HT angles. Call Calfee on Monday and they'll be happy to give you the suggested fork rake for your specific frame.

My 60cm Calfee (74 degree head angle) was spec'd with a 40mm rake Ouzo Pro.A 73.5 head angle would likely use a 43mm rake fork.
Hope this helps

Dan,
Why don't you sell me your 60cm Tetra and fork and I can stop searching every website on the web!

What fork model are you looking for? Calfee color matches and can nude and decal a fork for you if you'd like.

I currently have a Reynolds Ouzo Pro that is hopefully the correct rake.

I ain't got no Tetra::) I have a Luna.I assumed originally I would get a custom.Since the geometries are the same,I assumed I would lose less on a Luna when I sold it to order a custom Tetra, tweaking the stock geos.
Alas,I like this frame so much I really don't think improvements are needed, and I am sticking with it.
Thats one of the "problems" I have with this frame-I no longer have a roving eye for other stuff,as I doubt improvements are possible.
If I had the money,I'd order a custom cross frame and a tandem frame.Heavy scratch req'd,tho.

You are correct about the Calfee tandem. Saw a Tetra/Tetra recently at a rally. Well appointed with Dura-Ace and Kysriums. I was afraid to ask how much he had invested, but it was certainly nice.
