Poked around at the reports from the various tradeshows. Have found a number of nice pics and sideways comments on changes and/or new offerings for the coming year but no details. Of particular interest is a variation on the "Big Leg Emma" concept - hints of an Al version? Anyone able to share up-to-date info or point to a webpage with the goods? Thanks.

There is only one "new" model for 2006, the replacement for the CCKMP. I had a long talk with Dario about the bikes at the trade show and he graciously shared his ideas. There are, btw, a slew of new paint jobs that will simply re-define the bicycle as a canvass for art. These are not paint "designs" but an entirely different idea, albeit an extension of what we have already seen.
The new bike is called Love#3 and it is indeed aluminum. CCKMP was too light, too vulnerable said Dario, and this new super light bike will not fail. The new chainstays are indeed big but nothing like Emma's HUGE legs. There is also a new sort of dropout that is handsome and functional. Love#3 will be a road bike but you can order it in cyclocross, as the blue example at the show revealed. I have put in my order with a measurement done by The Man himself and hope to have a cyclocross Love#3 in about six months.
I've posted some pictures of the bikes I saw on the Serotta Forum but would be happy to post some here as well.
The other beautiful bike I saw at the show was the CyclesTournesol carbon randonneur but I'm a bit biased. Parlee sure got a lot of attention for showing an unusual use of carbon, nicely appointed with Honjo fenders, cotton wrapped shellac'd bars, and a custom Alliante leather saddle.

Hi,
I checked out the CyclesTournesol carbon randonneur on the web site and I am very impressed. If I had the money that would definately be my second bike. It's a good thing you posted about it here. Thanks.
