Post: Easton EC90 carbon post
Saddle: Selle Italia Prolink Light Gel Flow.
I come back from a ride, and it's in a different position. Post is relatively new, and I've gone through a few saddles, old and new, searching my perfect comfort perch. I did have an EC90 zero set back before I traded it in for this. Same musical chairs with the saddles, but no slippage. The clamp plates do look like different material, from the site they seem the same.
Any problems with seat slippage?

Anybody??? I just got a second opinion, and yes, in fact the seat moves all the way back during a ride. I'm not using a torque wrench for exact tightness-knowing, but I've never had this happen. Post is relatively new after trading it in for the straight post I originally got fitted with. But I used other seats on it no problem. This seat is new.
Sand the rails? Welding? Duct tape?

suggestion: clean rails and clamps with de-greaser. Maybe, just maybe there is the slightest film of grease on the rails that causes them to slip.

I had the same problem. I went over the saddle rails with a light grade sandpaper. No problems since. CPP
