How about Independent Fabrications? They have well made bicycles that are well priced with great paint jobs. My new Independence touring bike has a great ride and I will take it to France next year and ride some of the mountains that Lance will ride (just not at his speed)! A friend bought a Ti Crown Jewel from me and it really rides great! Very comparable to my Serotta Ti. Are these bikes made custom specific for each person, do they offer standard geometries, or both? Where are they made and what is their website address? If you think there would be enough interest in having an IF forum, then I'll create one. Just give me some idea of what category you think this brand would best fit in. I own one now and will soon own another. The company makes custom bikes in Somerville, Massachusetts. Their web address is: http://www.ifbikes.com/ I think their quality level is on par with any custom company on this site. I just received my custom Crown Jewel Ti and I am quite impressed. It has beautiful welds and a fantastic paint job and rides like a dream. The folks at IF are a pleasure to talk to and are more than happy to discuss their frame options with you and the company philosophy. I think there are probably enough users of the forum that own or would like to own or know more about IF to warrant a forum for this builder, I think it is a great idea!
