Ergo bars and the occasional aeros new
#6968 - 11/10/05 03:26 PM (128.107.253.42)

With the introduction of the Calfee custom barstem I have been looking at upgrading my bars to an ergo-type set. My question is, how many folks here use ergo-type bars?

For longer rides I sometimes like to throw a set of aeros onto my Luna Pro and I'm wondering if this would even be possible on an ergo bar. So if anyone knows of a ergo bar (or aerobar) that works well for this type of setup I would love to hear about it.

Except for Kestrel, you can't use a carbon bar with extensions.

You could get a Deda Synapsi.

Thanks for the reply. I have kestrel drops now and use profile design aeros when the need arises. I noticed PD makes a "wing clip" kit for their Dromo-pro bars but I'm not sure how well this would work on bars that are curvy and flat.

Thanks for the Deda suggestion.

It also looks like Profile Design is coming out with an aerobar that attaches directly to one of their stems rather than the bar itself.
