Grease the post?
#705 - 01/17/04 04:12 AM (66.93.44.252)

Hi. I'm on a temporary aluminum frame while my Luna gets repaired. I know with the carbon post no grease is used with the Calfee. How about a carbon post in the aluminium frame...grease or no grease?

To clarify your statement. A Calfee seat tube should not be greased regardless of the seat post material.

Sorry, but I don't know the answer to your actual concern.

No, a carbon post won't bond with the aluminum. Keep it dry.
