Anyone have any recommendations for cleaning the bottom bracket area on a Tetra? With the way the lugs are built, it can be very tedious to get to all of the dirt that is built up down there....
Thanks,
James

A cheap 1" paintbrush with your favorite bike cleaner, while washing the rest of the bike works for me. It gets in all those little nooks and crannys. I'll use the paintbrush dry if that area is merely dusty.

I also turn mine upside down in the repair stand to let the water drain out of the nooks and crannies around the BB area.

Hi Lon I actually bought it from a motorbike shop but i saw something like that in few bike shops , i can`t tell you where i bought it because i m not from U S A & even close to the state ,i m from a small place with high mountains, blue sky and a lot of beaches ,where i live most of the year is summer (only 3 month of winter) its a great place for cycling swimming & wind surfing , next month we will have here a Long Distance Triathlon . Sorry Lon ,hope you will find it somewhere, G`day Carbon Legs

Lon:
You can buy different sized, good stiff bristled cleaning brushes at almost any auto parts store. Although I would be more inclined to use cheap nylon bristle paint brushes. A couple of cheap bottle brushes for hubs and cassettes would also be handy. I doubt you would spend over $10 for all the variety that you could use.
