New forum for recumbent fans. new

Not sure if the recumbent bicycle crowd has a forum of their own. With so many cycling forums out there it's likely they do, but I decided to create one here just the same.

Enjoy!

Thanks Kahuna for making Recumbent Forum. I enjoy riding recumbent bikes and recumbent trikes as well as an upright Tandem, and a recumbent tandem trike.

As far as recumbents go, there are so many varieties, geometries, and platforms.
The following recumbent links provide a lot of info for the newbie.

A popular recumbent site:

As far as a High Performance Custom Recumbent, CarBent makes a Fast bike under 18 pounds:
CarBent is coming out with a Dual 650C wheel this year also(Under 18 pounds) for those that don't like the 406mm wheel in front with 700C in back:

Steel/Aluminum/Carbon bikes:

The Carbon Aero is the High-End bike in the Bacchetta line of recumbnets.

Recubent (laid back-aerodynamic) trikes minimum 29 pounds:

OH. And Let's not forget the Calfee Stiletto with an all carbon frame. I hear it is a great performer on Bentrideronline.com

Enjoy.
