I have a Race and I also have some riding friends that have older Merckx Ti's. I was thinking about looking for a Merckx Ti later this year. I noticed the Majestic was on sale at Competitive Cyclist which made me go to the Merckx site and look at the '04's. The Majestic is not there nor any other Ti offering. I guess he is following the Euro crowd (well, duh, makes sense) and going with mainly CF and Al. His CF bike is really sweet looking, but not for me at $3500. I love the Merckx geometry, so maybe I could get someone to "copy" it and build me a custom Ti. Since Litespeed built his bikes, maybe they would build a custom close to his specs?? They do that now for an additional $500.
