I have about one month to get ready for the Grizzly Peak Century. That's a very hilly century in the Berkeley/Oakland hills of the Bay Area. I will be doing the ~72 mile option and I know a few shortcuts  But considering that I've done exactly one ride per month this year, I think I'm gonna be one hurtin' mofo.
Anybody else signed up and going? ...they have the BEST food!!

Good luck, man. I wouldn't try it myself with how little I've been riding. I need to build up gradually, not kill myself.

Sign up for the food!!!!! I know bail out points that can make the 72 miler into either a ~20, ~40 and ~60 miler. The first two bail outs make for a not too difficult ride. The 60 miler is still pretty hilly and I've done it when time was more of an issue. I had to be somewhere and couldn't afford the time for the entire ride.
Besides, I know of no better way to die than on my bike! ...maybe my skis.
Certainly not peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather. ...of course the passengers in the car he was driving at the time would disagree...
