He goes again. So i've ventured up the coast as a staple of my Stiletto diet and I wanted to see what it was like further up the coast so...107 miles, 5330 ft of climb, 18.9mph avg. 5hrs 23 minutes (102miles on the clock). Past San Simeon beach a few miles the road loses it's shoulder, or should I say bike lane, and from here it's all out insanity. I would advise against this route unless you have police escort. Close to ragged point, on hwy 1, the bushes block even the narrow strip between you and flying hunks of metal, combine that with strong winds and heavy fog and you've got thanatos on your side! The bike is performing like a champ, comfortable and on hills up to 10% id say as fast as an upright now. Did I say I put on a carbon cobra seat before? It looks good on the bike, ill post some pics soon for my thousands of fans.
