Hi,
I'm about to buy my first Calfee, and had decided on the Luna, but I just found a older, but new, (2002) Dragonfly in a bike shop, and they're willing to make a great deal on it. It's been in the shop forever probably because it's a 64 (which just happens to be my size).
My question: how much has the design changed on the Dragonfly in the last few years? Would I be better off with a new Luna? Aside from aesthetics, I thought I'd heard that there was some kind of substantial change. Are there any sites with specs or anything that might describe that model year?

If that 2002 Dragonfly fits you properly, and you will get a great deal on it, then go for it, man. Basically you have lucked out on a NOS frame and since it's been in a bike shop, it is essentially a new frame.
Definately send an email to Craig and get the skinny from the horse's mouth. He will give you the information you want.
In my opinion, if it were me, I would snap up the Dragonfly instead of ordering a new Luna.

The only change that I know of are in the lugs. The "older" Flys have a lug that looks like the Luna and the newer ones have one that has material removed to give it a sculpted look. If the deal is a great one you should go with the Fly I'd say. You would have it back in resale if you ever decide to part with it. I have both a Luna and a Fly and they are both great bikes. Also don't forget the Fly has a 25 warranty and the Luna a 10 if that is an issue.
Unless Craig comes up with any other changes that is about it. He doesn't fix what isn't broken. The Tetra really hasn't changed in years.

Thanks, all. I'll definitely call Craig on Monday. I thought I'd heard about some change in stiffness or something, but as long as he wasn't fixing any problems, I'll be going for the Dragonfly. The other advantage: no waiting!
