Ok kids, so I found a Tetra-Pro in the dumpster and being a cyclist and an owner of a beautiful Masi Grand Corsa, I have contacted Calfee and explained the situation. I know that somone put lot's of hard work into buying this bicycle and I feel it's only right to try to return it to it's rightful owner, HOWEVER Calfee informs that this bikes serial number pre-date's their computer records and the local P.D. have no report of it being stolen. I am awaiting for Calfee to search the hard records, we see what turns up.
To be continue.........

Sorry but I must be a little confused. I thought you had identified the owner of the bike. It was some young guy that threw the bike in the dumpster. It was a gift from his father and not the bike he wanted.
Has there been a change of events?

Let me explain, I did find out that the kid who threw the Calfee in the dumpster got the bike from his father, whom got it from "some guy at this apartment he rented" so I believe this Calfee's history is that is was stolen from the person who bought it from Calfee Design. Thats why I trying to find out who bought it from Calfee. I think that if the owner got his /her bike back it would make them feel that there is still good in this world.

Ok, that clears things up. When I first heard the story I was thinking --who would throw a Calfee in a dumpster? I am not sure if you were familar with Calfee before you found the Tetra but there are a hand full of bikes that are in the same league as a Calfee.
If in deed it was stolen, I am sure the owner is losing sleep over it and would be happy to get it back.
Let us know how it turns out.
