noisy lever
#8533 - 01/08/07 07:19 AM (68.6.77.100)

not sure if this is the right place to post, but, does anyone know how to remedy a noisy campy record (carbon '04) brake/shifter lever? in other words, when i ride over even the slightest bump in the road, or, while standing beside the bike and simply lifting the front end off the ground a few inches and dropping it, i get this really boingy-type of sound, kind of pingy vibration coming from the right-hand lever, like something's loose in it. SO ANNOYING while riding. my lbs hasn't a clue how to make it go away, and blames campy, not the installation job. i can tell you this: it all started the moment i put both wheels back on after i removed them for a few hours while traveling in a car.

i appreciate any thoughts. a good new year to all.
