Has anyone ever raced their Calfee Tetra Pro? What are you thoughts on it? Have you ever crashed it - and had Craig repair it? How was the work??

These 2 questions have come up quite a few times over the years on the Calfee forum, but I don't think a search will go back through the old software,so i'll sum it up for you.
Lots of people, including a guy named Greg Lemond, have raced tetra pros.he raced his over there in France.
The construction of the tetra, over the other models, lends itself best to repair. There have been many reports on this forum of someone who thought their bike was trashed, but sent it in for evaluation. They say it comes back looking better than new.
I cannot recall anyone being unhappy with a repair or paint job.
Hope this helps-

To give you an idea of how well they can be repaired...a friend's Tetra was on a roof rack when the person driving the car forgot and went under a portico of a motel. You can imagine the damage. It came back better than new with a new paint job that he liked better. It is one bike that can be easily repaired. In Velonews he now advertises that he fixes other carbon bikes since that is not easy to find.
