Anybody seen The Flying Scotsman? My wife and I saw it the other day in Santa Cruz. It's a about the life of (former) hour record holder Graeme Obree.
The movie starts in his early childhood and rapidly advances to adulthood where he decides to attempt to break the hour record in 1993. Obree built his own custom hour bike of his design and used parts from a washing machine. It also touches on Obree's mental health problems. Based on what I know of Obree (reading only), the film makers took some "liberties" with the events, but it certainly does not detract from the film. ...It's not really a documentory anyhow.
If you like like cycling films, this one is a "must see". The film has a (very) limited run and is shown only in a few theaters in the US. So if you're interested, find a theater and see it before it leaves. I don't know if it will be release as a DVD/video anytime soon, but I'm sure if you wait long enough, it will become available.

It should heat up as soon as I can get my posted photos approved. You can be teased by the descriptions if you want.
Any idea of how to get them approved? Contacted Kahuna already.

Looks like a pretty cool flick! I wish it were in Dallas!
