Classic Eddie MX Leader - What is a fair price? new
#8866 - 06/26/07 10:11 PM (24.5.93.76)

I have a 56cm MX Leader, steel, orange w/ blue decals, couple of nicks in the paint, but basically ridden fewer than 500 miles, full Campy Record (carbon) grupo, Chris Kind headset and orange hubs, Thomson seatpost, Flite saddle, new matching orange handlebar wraps, etc. What's not listed I can't remember off the top of my head, but will provide later.

What's a fair price? It's a beautiful bike. As you probably know, people stop dead in their tracks when they see it. The bike mechanics at my shop would buy it if it fit and they could afford it.

So, tell me what it's worth, please. And, if you're interested in buying it,please drop me an email and I'll send pics. Otherwise, it's going to the Mill Valley Bike Swap this Saturday, hopefully to go to a new home!

I went back and measured the bike and it's a 54cm-seatpost and top tube , center to center.

After researching this beautiful and rare bike, I've set a price of $3,500.

It's a beautiful Eddie Orange lugged steel frame w/ ovalized tubes. Campy Record grupo. FSA carbon cranks. Chris King headset. Chris King matching orange hubs on classic wheels. Front wheel is single-cross lacing. Rear wheel, traditional triple cross. Thomson seatpost. Fizik Flite saddle.

If interested, please email for pics.
