Saturday I'm signed up for a developmental class HERE. Never been on a track before, but do have a lot of Fixed miles under my old belt. Will bring my Milwaukee (I need to post updated build photos), steel frame with mavic open pro wheels on phil hubs -- sans brakes of course -- bars, stem, cranks, seatpost, pedals, etc.
Tips? Tricks? Advice? Suggestions? Experiences to share?
This'll be my first track ride.

So how did the ride go? We have an exceptional wooden track in my town. The NSC Velodrome has 43 deg banked turns and is one of the last tracks built with a rare Brazilian wood that is now on the endangered species list. I have a Walter Croll custom track frame with Suntour Superbe Pro and Mavic Piste rims. Nothing beats track racing!!!!!

Wow. Didn't realize it was that long ago.
I had a great time. I rode my Fixed single speed Milwaukee I commute on 42x14. I was spinning like a crazy man on that track. After the first two laps of a race I didn't have the gears to keep up.
I need to do it again.
