I believe you want a 27.2mm X 250mm seat post. You may also want to consider from what material the seat post is made; Carbon Fiber, Aluminum or Ti (if they still make Ti seat posts).

I just picked up my bike today from Cycle Art in Vista. It looks Super. I will try and get a picture posted.

Congratulations on the new D'Fly.
I would love to see the photos when you get them. I am also interested in your impressions of your new Dragonfly. I will eventually replace my Luna with either a Tetra or Dragonfly and am interested in hearing about the ride characteristics of both bikes.

Bruce,
I took some pictures of the frame this morning. I think that my wife will provide me with some help as I have never posted pictures before.
You question about ride characteristics is a really good one. I chased this issue down until I got some reasonable answers. Generally speaking I think that the D-Fly will be more stiff due to the fact that there is Boron in the three main tubes.
As far as my bike goes, it is a custom frame. The geometry is different from a Stock frame. The primary use of this bike will be for Supported long distance cycling. I am in the process of making the arrangements for a ride accross north America.
Craig should be able to build you a bike that fits your exaxt needs.I went to his shop and he set me up on his size cycle and we were able to dial in the various aspects of the frame design while I was ridding the sizer. This is diffinetly worth while.

I am now going through the same research you did. I have spoken to Craig about a new bike as well and will probably visit the factory before the end of summer.
I know I will be buying another Calfee, I just don't know which one. Both the Dragonfly and the Tetra Pro have advantages and disadvantages. I had heard that the ride quality of the Tetra Pro might be a little softer but the Dragonfly is lighter and maybe a little more fun to ride. I think either bike would satisfy me. The price difference isn't as big deal. I will probably ride the bike every day for the next ten years. So the price difference is really only $100 a year.
Tell us what you think of the bike after you have ridden it.
